MATERIALS LIST–Creemore workshop

A materials fee of $20 will cover plexi plates, inks, additives, collage & masking papers, a selection of drawing media, 2 full sheets of printmaking paper which will allow approximately 12 small prints.

—A 2” or 4” soft rubber brayer
—if you want to bring your own paper, bring very smooth printmaking paper. Arches 88, Canson Edition, Magnani Revere Silk, Magnani Incisioni, Somerset Satin are all possible. Instructor will have extra paper for sale.
—Sharpie permanent marker
—plexi palette (approximately 15” x 20”)
—plastic paint knives (4+), 3/4” across (often sold in hardware stores as plaster knives)
—‘kit’ of notebook, pen, pencil, eraser, metal ruler, glue stick
—plastic table cover (a shower curtain liner works well)
—a pad of newsprint for containing mess and transporting prints at the end of the workshop
—any kind of netting usually used for fruits and vegetables, if available
—preferred mark-making tools for both applying and removing ink, e.g. extra brayers, wooden skewers, toothbrushes, stiff paint brushes, cotton swabs, rags, combs, ink knives, old credit cards, etc.
—dry media: Caran d’Ache crayons, charcoal, oil pastels, as desired
