A WEEK IN THE COUNTRY
The textures of a visit to a cottage by a lake. Rubbings of rocks, trees and plants were reproduced as waterless lithography plates, and printed, layered with relief, etching and painted elements. There is no beginning or end to what we can perceive when we look around us, so this book has no front or back, top or bottom. Awarded First Prize in the Annual National Juried Print Show at the John B. Aird Gallery, Toronto.
Relief, etching, lithography and acrylic on paper. Hinges are purchased, hand-marbled paper.
